Just received the book today and oh my gosh, I find that I cannot put it down! The book is so much more than a cookbook, it is a wealth of information which will no doubt help a lot of people, especially those that are just starting out on this journey. It actually explains the science behind this way of eating, and includes a meal plan which will be especially helpful to those of us that sometimes get overwhelmed.

i follow a strict 15g carb a day ‘diet’ so i can’t use a lot of these but if your doing a 30-50 then it’d be great for you

I received my (full-price) copy yesterday, and I am halfway through it already. I have other books by Maria Emmerich, and they are all good, but this is her best by far. I’m NOT a good cook – in fact I dislike it – but these recipes are simple, only require a few ingredients and FAST. I came to the recipe for Cheese Puffs and ran into the kitchen and cooked a few for a quick snack. 45 seconds later, done and done! Yummy.

Great gift for low carb or keto fan.

Bought for my son, who is ketogenic and loves the new recipes because he can fix things his wife will eat with him. He was very happy to get the cookbook, and had already invited people to come try the food when he called to thank me. It is easy to get complacent and just graze when you should have a sit down meal now and then.

I’m in love with this cookbook! I’ve been collecting low carb cookbooks for over a decade and Ketogenic Cooking by Maria Emmerich outshines them all! I’ve been a fan of Maria for over five years and have tried many of her recipes that she provides on her Keto Adapted website. She provide a lot of basic information to help those getting started on this way of eating and provides ways to make this transition easy for you. In addition to the more than 170 recipes in the book, there are useful tips and meal plans that come with shopping lists to make the ketogenic diet so simple for anyone. Many recipes are available for those with common allergies to nuts, dairy, and eggs. There’s even recipes suitable for vegetarians! I like that the macros are provided for each recipe as well as a keto meter to show how it rates. If you are on maintenance, the low keto recipes are fine, but those wishing to initiate fat burning are better staying with the high keto recipes. I’ve already made the skillet lasagna recipe and it was so quick and easy to prepare! My whole family loved it and it’s a recipe that doesn’t take much to prepare. If you trying to fit a ketogenic into your busy lifestyle, you NEED this cookbook! You can easily follow this healthy way of eating with these time saving recipes.

We are new to Keto and Maria’s book has become a staple in our kitchen. We haven’t ever put it away and the only time we remove it is to sit on the couch and look through it. The recipes aren’t difficult. Photos are beautiful. This book makes eating Keto feel as healthy as it is. Fresh, healthy, delicious food. We drink the orange shake every week. All of the “what to buy” and “use this, or that” options made making these meals really fun. Once you get items listed in the book you can make just about any Keto recipe or create your own. My kitchen is Keto stocked because of the list in this boo. This book is worth the money. I will buy all of her books. Yum!!

Brilliant!!! I’ve been Keto-ing the last 6 months and have been reading many books on both the subject and recipes. This is the one to get and give to yourself and friends. Explains, based on evidence and science, the reason this approach is more than a diet. Plus Maria knows how to create great recipes that will convince you and your family that you are enjoying meals more than before while improving your health.

I’ve followed Keto for 10+ years now and am always researching more and more information and mentoring friends as well. I’ve sent many people to Maria’s blog for inspiration in the Keto ways of life and was thrilled to purchase her newest book. I read many things to my fiancé to continue to help him understand the ins and outs of the lifestyle. Her method of explaining was incredible for him being a newer Keto follower and I too continued to learn more by reading her cookbook cover to cover. I’m very pleased with it!! I’ve lent it out to numerous people to peruse and all have said they’re ordering it. Thanks for continuing the inspiration Maria… I’ll forever be a fan!

I own a lot of Maria’s books – and they’re all really good – but this one is the best-produced of them all. Tons of nutrition info, helpful notes, alternate choices for various diet styles, great recipes, and gorgeous photos – 5 stars for sure!
