This book has simply changed my life. I know that you aren’t supposed to weigh yourself on this program, but weighing myself is a motivator so I decided to skip that rule. It’s only been two weeks and already I feel so much better. I am more alert in the mornings and my acid reflex is gone. In addition, my migraines seemed to have disappeared entirely. What is really motivating me is the fact that I lost 15 pounds and 10 overall inches in two weeks. I also love the fact that I have the energy to exercise again. I look forward to continuing this program even after my 30 days are up. I just feel that healthy and energetic! I’ll post an update once my 30 days are complete. 🙂

This book is exactly what I have been looking for. Instead of trying to keep track of all the continual debates on diet, the authors have created a plan for you to find out what works best for you (as well as what makes you feel like junk.) The 30 days were difficult, don’t get me wrong, but it was so empowering to resist my cravings! I sleep better, have a better mood, lost weight and fat so now I look lean and muscular! (Confession: I used to work out everyday but once I started the program I didn’t have enough time to exercise so no, I didn’t reach these results from hitting the gym; it’s all about food.)

It’s like Christmas in my Kitchen.

My wife and I loved this so much that our best friends followed suit. I’m 6’3″, and was 225.6 pounds, and in the 30 days I went down to 211.0, so I lost 14.6 pounds. I did not exercise one bit. As a matter of fact, my job is sitting in front of a computer every day at my own house, so I usually do not get much more exercise than walking up and down the steps to my office. There were a couple of days (literally 2) that I did expend a fair amount of energy, so basically the 14.6 pounds I lost was just sitting still doing nothing. I’ve been off of the Whole30 for about 6 weeks now and we are eating a bit healthier, but my diet is nowhere as clean as it was on the Whole30 and my weight has fluctuated from 210 to 214 over the last 6 weeks. This morning I was 212.4.

I am day five into my Whole 30 challenge, and I have used this book every day, and plan on using it for 25 more, and beyond. The recipes are simple enough, but require a bit more time. If you meal plan it’s just fine. A lot of information on this health challenge is online, but this book is a wonderful reference guide.

Best thing I ever did for myself! In 30 days I kicked my cravings and feel so much better. I can run up stairs again and my joints are nearly pain free. Best of all I lost almost 5″ of belly fat. Recipes are great!

Great recipe book if you are trying to lose weight. I did the whole 30 challenge (30 days of eating clean- all laid out in the book) and lost 10 pounds and really didn’t exersize. The recipes are pretty easy to follow and very flavorful. I would recommend adding the exersize for a bigger loss, but even as a stand alone cookbook it was great!
