This book has simply changed my life. I know that you aren’t supposed to weigh yourself on this program, but weighing myself is a motivator so I decided to skip that rule. It’s only been two weeks and already I feel so much better. I am more alert in the mornings and my acid reflex is gone. In addition, my migraines seemed to have disappeared entirely. What is really motivating me is the fact that I lost 15 pounds and 10 overall inches in two weeks. I also love the fact that I have the energy to exercise again. I look forward to continuing this program even after my 30 days are up. I just feel that healthy and energetic! I’ll post an update once my 30 days are complete. 🙂

This book is exactly what I have been looking for. Instead of trying to keep track of all the continual debates on diet, the authors have created a plan for you to find out what works best for you (as well as what makes you feel like junk.) The 30 days were difficult, don’t get me wrong, but it was so empowering to resist my cravings! I sleep better, have a better mood, lost weight and fat so now I look lean and muscular! (Confession: I used to work out everyday but once I started the program I didn’t have enough time to exercise so no, I didn’t reach these results from hitting the gym; it’s all about food.)

Great message, terribly organized book

I just finished a Whole 30, and yes, it did change my life. I’m down 11 pounds and feel much better. My diabetic husband is doing much better as well. I just wish this book was more readable! A good editor could have turned this book into a much easier to follow plan. I ended up getting a lot of useful info from watching You tube videos that have been posted by Whole 30 ore than from plodding through page after page of this book.

It’s like Christmas in my Kitchen.

Love this book! I love Whole30! Today is day 31 and I lost 16 pounds, and 9 inches! It’s wild! On top of that, I don’t remember the last time I had this much energy, and wasn’t fatigued all day. My wedding ring finally fits again after baby number 2. And my mood has drastically improved! If you’re in the fence, just do it! As daunting as it seemed, I didn’t miss a thing I had to “give up”. The recipes in this book were scrumptious. We especially liked the stuffed peppers!

If you buy “It Starts with Food” you don’t need this book too. So far the diet plan is working well.

A little misleading in the advertisement – only in the book did you find out it was not a simple matter of cooking veggies, meat, etc. – you also had to make the sauces and mixes and even the dry ingredients for the item you were cooking – much to complicated for the novice cook and I lost interest early on in the book!

Book #2 from this author for me, and it helped me with tips, recipes and a sample plan, through 30 Days of doing eating right… plus getting started on eating right for a lifetime.

I love this book. Bought it a few months ago and refer back to it often for recipes and tips. Though the Whole 30 is very difficult to maintain for 30 days, I follow the idea to eat as clean as possible as much as possible. It’s almost impossible to eat “out” and be 100% Whole 30. My favorite recipe is the Salmon Cakes and I’ve made them multiple times!
