Gingers should be cut very finely throughout the challenging fibers. As well soft components, e.g., bananas and also blueberries, are hard to be squeezed. Tough apples are good for juicing; soft apples are not. Soft active ingredients are suitable for smoothie mixes/ sorbets.

2. There will be some alright pulps in the juice. It is common for masticating juicers, and also is good for pulp lovers. The pulps could be filtered out with a filter or the cloth consisted of. The fine pulps (not the challenging fiber pulps from the leave) are very good nourishment sensible, and could be made use of for making cake, rice, soup, and so on

INTEREST 1. If the juicing screw is blocked, please press REV (Reverse Rotation) for a couple of seconds to unblock.

2. The overload security system might turn off the juicer due to electric motor getting too hot, unpredictable power supply, incorrect assembly, still run, and so on. When this happens, the juicer will certainly be locked off for 1 hour. Please wait.

I have been juicing consistently for 3 months now. I started out with the Breville JE98XL Juice Fountain Plus 850-Watt Juice Extractor. The Breville was good but I didn’t like that the juice didn’t last more then a day and I was forced to juice multiple times a day. I was spending 45-60 minutes on 3 juices for the day.

New design solves a lot of old problems! Self-feeding chute doesn’t clog or require much chopping. LOVE.

Note: I received a sample for review, but the opinion is my own. I’ve had several juicers over the years, both centrifugal and masticating. This design is a new one to me. It solves some old problems without creating many new ones. The build quality is excellent. Everything is built to last and look good, and it all snaps together very solidly.

I’m in love with a juicer! Love this juicer so much. I’ve began a juice fast to regain my health after a battle with cancer and other health issues. I have had a Breville centrifugal juicer about 5 years ago, which was good, but the long cleanup led me to eventually stop using it, so I gave it away after a year. When I decided to start a juice fast a year ago, I bought a Bella centrifugal juicer (an ok inexpensive machine) because I thought I had no business buying an expensive juicer unless I stuck with it. A year later here I am really into juice fasts!- have changed my life and health! So after doing much reading, video watching, research, I’ve decided to upgrade to this masticating juicer- so glad I did!! The juicer had more yield of juice than my centrifugal and the quality of the juice seems much better. It’s quiet! So my family isn’t disturbed by loudness anymore. It’s fun to watch it do it’s thing. It took me so much less time to clean up than my previous juicers…a huge thing for me. The large chute makes prep work much faster. It’s also a beautiful machine, my favorite color. There are several videos on Youtube demonstrating this juicer and how to use it(it’s easy to use) and also comparing it against other juicers. I recommend to watch those so you know what to expect. Just type in SKG New Generation Wide Chute Juicer on Youtube. Very glad I did my research and very glad I bought this juicer! No way am I ever giving this one up! 🙂 As a side note, I highly reccomend to watch the following documentaries 1) Super Juice Me -about juicing and how it can improve health, stop many illnesses, and help with weight loss- has 8 people’s journey’s with juicing for 28 days and how it changed their health (you can find the entire film on Youtube for free) and 2) Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead (You can find on Netflix and also Amazon) Good health to you and your loved ones! Great juicer! Delicious refreshing juice, low noise, and ergonomic design

This great juicer is a keeper! My whole family prefer fresh juice over pre-packaged juice: the taste is more freshing, it is healthy and all natural without any artificial additives, and it is cheaper if you stick to fruits that are in season. I recently purchased and returned another brand of electronic juicer that did not fully extract the juice and seemed very wasteful while making extremely loud noises and shaking all over my counter top. I also tried a manual citrus juicer but it required way too much hand and arm strength and tired me out after just a couple of organges. Had to return them both. This SKG juicer was recommended by a friend and I am very happy with it so far after one month of extensive use. It produces delicious refreshing juice for the whole family without wearing out my hands and arms, it is very quiet, it is easy to use and clean, and the handles on the machine and the large container that holds the juice are ergonomic in design. The juice is very smooth. And the leftover material seems very dry and much less in volumn than what the previous juicer produced. I attached a picture which shows a big container of organge juice (right) extracted from just 8 medium-sized oranges with very little leftover material (left). The amount of juice filled three tall glasses! (By the way I highly recommend keeping a few organges in the fridge at all times so that you can always get cold refreshing OJ without adding ice cubes. I don’t like anything added to my juice, not even ice cubes!) When I ordered the juicer I was a bit unsure of the red color of the machine as the rest of my kitchen has the black-white-chrome color theme. Fortunately it turned out great–the color is very pretty and adds an interesting touch to my kitchen. Couldn’t be happier.

If it’s not masticating, it’s just spinning in circles….

I’ve been juicing almost every day for over 30 years and, in that time, have owned only three vegetable juice extractors. Therefore, my review is partially based on the comparison of the SKG Wide Chute Anti-Oxidative Slow Masticating Juicer to three very high quality centrifugal juicers that were efficient and made by excellent companies. I do own a manual masticating juicer as a back up, that works without electricity.

This SKG Slow Juicer offers sleek, eye-catching appeal to your counter-top and is a grade A performer – – as long as you insert your foods right. You have to alternate insertions between soft items and hard items to avoid clogging and bogging the machine down. Since the owner’s manual doesn’t do a good job of explaining in what order foods should be inserted to maximize your experience, you just have to remember to insert soft food then hard food, a soft food item then a hard food item, like that (if there’s anything soft to be juiced) and stringy items like celery stalks have to be cut in about one half inch pieces to ensure long strings won’t matte up and bog down the machine. Doing this will lengthen your time and experience of juicing before you have to pause to clean the insides out in order to continue. This may help cut down on some occasional frothiness, too.

Highly Recommend!!!

My Naturopathic Doctor & best friend Tammye Mathews, ND recommended that I purchase the SKG Masticating Juicer. She told me that the initial cost would prove to save me time and money and help me to achieve my health goals. I must say that the SKG Masticating Juicer is one of my best purchases ever. I love the fact that I can juice fresh fruit and vegetables and store them in glass jars – I can grab and go!

Great! Only one flaw. And they sent me a new one that is perfect!!

My son has lost 24 pounds juicing! Great juicer. Only problem is that it is extremely difficult to take apart and put back together. Just that last part where you have to twist the top part into place. Holy cow! We have only hand washed it. Not sure what the problem is.

This is the best juicer ever

I love this juicer! I have purchased and burned up 4 centrifugal juicers of popular brands over the last 11 years I have been juicing. I have replaced a slow masticating juicer I wore out with this one. i own a commercial grade masticating juicer also. I have never extracted as much juice, leaving dry pulp for soups, salads, and icebox jams than the SKG provides. Cleaning is easy, parts disassemble and reassemble in a snap. The chute fits medium sized apples, beets, and other medium diameter fruits and veggies. Adding kale or spinach is as easy as an apple.
