Ugh …. is that guy at 1:40 with his chest cracked open … alive or dead?  He has a big hole in his chest, where the sutures seemed to have healed.  This is the kind of study that I think is invalid … orange and any strong fruit smell is to be expected in dentist offices … like that grape flavor they always use for fluoride treatment.  Weird.

Dr. Greger,
Could you please have your video editor turn up the sound on your video’s? I can barely hear your commentary even with the youtube volume turned all the way up.
Thanks, Jack

every time I try to add oranges in my diet, I get UTIs. I hate that. I love oranges but I just can’t eat them.

Eric Sandoval says:

What kind of UTI?

Justgivemethetruth says:

+Eric Sandoval What is UTI ?

MooJoo5555 says:

a UTI means urinary tract infection (bladder infection) and I think most UTIs are bacteria infections (not virus, this is why antibiotics work on UTIs). I am guessing the acid in the oranges is causing my bladder to produce bacteria. It was a pharmacist who suggested to me to stop eating oranges and my UTIs might stop. She was right.

Justgivemethetruth says:

+MooJoo5555 Thank you.  Funny thing is that I always heard women that got UTI or bladder infections were supposed to drink cranberry juice because it was supposed to be acidic?  Is it acidic?  And if so, why are oranges and lemons and such not as good as cranberries for solving these issues?  Or … is the cranberry thing untrue, or is it all the sugar in orange juice that makes it problematic for some people?
